The Asian AOMS  would like to share our monthly progress update regarding the future management of our Society and our upcoming schedule.

As advised in our previous correspondence, we are progressing smoothly with our transition plans.

1. Development of the New Membership Management System
As previously informed, the development of our new, streamlined Membership Management System is steadily underway towards November 2026. We truly appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as we work to build a reliable and secure system.

2. Notice – Survey Request
We have received the following survey request and would welcome your participation if you are interested. Please feel free to complete it at your convenience.

Invitation to participate in a survey on fixation protocols in aligner surgery patients
Dear Doctor,
I am currently conducting a research project at KU Leuven under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Cadenas and Dr. Verhelst, focusing on clinical preferences regarding fixation techniques used during and after orthognathic surgery in patients treated with orthodontic aligners.
As there are currently no evidence-based guidelines specifically addressing this patient population, your clinical experience and input would be highly valuable to this research.
We would therefore like to invite you to participate in a short survey.
The survey:
is completely anonymous
takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete
is intended for oral and maxillofacial surgeons involved in orthognathic surgery

• Collaboration Period: Reaching out to each country’s secretariat for member list verification.

Phase 3: September – October
• Data migration and internal system testing.

Phase 4: November
• Official launch of the new Membership Management System.
• Distribution of new login credentials to members.
