Update: the New Secretariat Operations and Membership System Roadmap
Dear Members,
On behalf of Executive Director Takahashi, The Asia AOMS Secretariat would like to share an update regarding the future management of our Society and our upcoming schedule.
1. New Secretariat Established
We are pleased to announce that the new structure for the Secretariat's operations has been successfully established. With this dedicated team, we are committed to ensuring stable membership management and providing you with smoother operations moving forward.
2. Development of the New Membership Management System
To improve our services, we are currently developing a new, streamlined Membership Management System.
• Timeline: The development and data migration process is expected to take until November 2026.
• Our Sincere Apologies: We understand this transition requires a significant amount of time. We deeply appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to build a reliable and secure system.
3. Data Verification Request to National Councils
To ensure a seamless transition, we will soon be reaching out to the Council of each country to help cross-check and verify past and present member records. Your local cooperation is essential to ensure all data is accurately migrated.
Key Milestones:
Phase 1: Present – June
• Secretariat onboarding and infrastructure setup.
• Initiation of the new system development.
Phase 2: July – August
• Collaboration Period: Reaching out to each country’s secretariat for member list verification.
Phase 3: September – October
• Data migration and internal system testing.
Phase 4: November
• Official launch of the new Membership Management System.
• Distribution of new login credentials to members.
